Meet the Artist
Hello!
I am Ciara Von Holten, I have been teaching for over four years, and I am currently employed by Woodlawn Arts Academy in Rock Falls IL!
My background as an educator, a homeschooling mama, and a yoga teacher creates emphasis on creating a safe space for students to learn and explore themselves via art! I specialize in fun, fine art education, book making and binding, and a variety of other areas, and in 2022 I created my own Middle school Art education curriculum!

Beginning in February, is “INTRO TO ART”. A middle school level bi-weekly two month program available to students of both public and homeschool backgrounds. Kicking the program off with Making our own journals and sketchbooks from scratch, we will then begin to delve into learning about art in an engaging and inclusive way, leaving students feeling confident and inspired!
Available on Thursdays and Fridays are private art lessons, these are available both in your home or mine, (I provide materials!) for all ages, I will create a specially curated art lesson or monthly curriculum to begin to form a formal and explorative art education for your children! This is specifically curated to homeschoolers, but as always can be available to public school children as well!
These lessons can be booked individually, at a rate of $25 per class, per household, or purchased as 1 month of classes, one each week. This package is $80 per household!
Its important to me to create accessibility to families of all sizes and income levels so if you have special needs or accessibility issues don’t be afraid to reach out!
